Working out....

This is my second week of working out. I have a goal to lose about 40 pounds by July/August. I have been doing pretty good about exercising, but I'm feeling discouraged. I feel like I've been gaining weight and I'm getting frustrated. I usually don't have very much motivation with taking care of Cleo, cleaning the house, and going to work. I am one of those people who, if no one is pushing me to do something, I usually don't do it. I've been trying to be better about motivating myself. Thankfully there are girls in my ward who take me walking with them twice a week. Without that to look forward to every week, I probably wouldn't do anything but ride our stationary bike. I've just been feeling frustrated so I thought I would let it all out here.

Our 2nd Anniversary!

This past Sunday was mine and Justin's 2nd anniversary! It seems so crazy to me that we've been married for two years AND we have a baby. But I love it. We made a whole weekend of celebrating. We both took Friday off and we went up to Park City. We needed to buy Cleo some new summer clothes because she is growing so fast! So we spent the day up there and then we came home and watched movies. Saturday Justin took me to lunch at Corbin's. Oh my goodness, it was sooo good! It was kind of expensive, but totally worth it for our special occasion. After lunch we went to the Syracuse Fun Center and bowled and mini golfed. It was really fun to just spend some time with Justin. Since Cleo's been around we don't get to do that very often. Sunday we spent time with Justin's family for lunch, then we went to my parents for dinner. My sister's, mission companion's parents came to dinner on Sunday, too. They are from Australia, and they are so fun to be around. We played games and ate lots of food, and just hung out. It was fun. We had a big weekend and it was hard to get back into our normal routine. I love Justin and I love Cleo and I can't wait to see what this next year holds for us.

Our first playdate with Amy & Jayci! And Auntie Alyssa :)

Amy, Jayci, and Alyssa came to visit me and Cleo the other day. They were just up for a visit at their parents, so they came to see us on their way home. Cleo and Jayci were so cute togther! Jayci is 2 months younger than Cleo, so she is still just laying and trying to roll over. While Cleo is sitting up and rolling and trying to crawl. Cleo is so interested in other babies. Whenever a baby comes on the TV she always just stares and laughs. So when Amy got Jayci out of her carseat, Cleo was so curious. When they were sitting accross from each other, Cleo kept reaching over and touching and patting Jayci. She was really soft, it was almost like she was saying, "Hi. Lets be friends." It was so cute! For a little while, while they were sitting face-to-face, Cleo kept making noises and Jayci would just start laughing, so then Cleo would laugh, and it just kept going like that for about 10 minutes. It was great! I love having friends who have babies too!

Cleo's First Haircut!

So, Cleo's hair had been growing so much that it had started to look like a mullet! The back had really long, fine, baby hair that was growing over the thicker, short, real hair. And the sides were just crazy! My sister-in-law Melissa was so nice to trim Cleo's hair for us! It kind of looks like she did a bob. It is sooo cute! I love it. So now it doesn't look like she's a homeless child (which is a good thing). But she did so good for Melissa! We just put her in the sink and turned the water on. She sat and played with the water and didn't freak out once that Melissa was playing with her hair. Which is really unfair, becuase whenever I try to comb her hair she gets mad and starts swatting at my hands and screeching. The last picture is of some of the hair we cut. She cut off almost twice as much as in that picture! I couldn't believe how much hair she had at 6 & 1/2 months!

Cleo's first Christmas!

This was our first Christmas with Cleo. She wasn't very sure about everything that was going on, but at least she didn't get scared. It was really different to have a little person with us but it was lots of fun.

Cleo Mae is finally here!

Yay! Cleo finally came out of me! She was born on September 9, 2010 at 8:09 pm. She weighed 9 lbs 2 oz and was 21.3 inches long. We started out that day going to the hospital at 8 expecting to have my labor started and we would have Cleo the normal way. 11 hours later, they decided that she wasn't dropping into the birth canal so we would have to do a C-Section. An hour later Cleo was here! She was the biggest baby born that day. She had TONS of hair. All the nurses could say was "Look at that hair!" or "Wow, she's big!" Here are some pictures of the day!

Right before we left for the hospital. I was huge!

Hi Mom!

New Apartment!

We got a new apartment! We moved in in May. We live in Clearfield now, right up the street from my grandma Snow. We rent from a little old lady named Shirley. She is the sweetest landlord anyone could ask for. I finally have my own kitchen!!! We have really liked it here so far. Hopefully we are able to stay here for awhile.

Anniversary Weekend!

For our 1 year anniversary we went to the Anniversary Inn up in Logan. We stayed in the Artic Room. It had penguins. :) and if you know me, you know that I love penguins :) Here are just some pictures of the room.
