BaBy!

This is our baby! So in case you don't get it, I'm pregnant! I am just over 10 weeks along. We had our first doctor appointment last week. She said everything is looking good and I am due on September 9, 2010. We are so excited. Justin is really excited, but he doesn't like to show how excited he is to other people. I have been feeling pretty sick. And its not just morning sickness...its all day sickness. I feel sick all day long. Lately I've started to feel better. I figured out that starlight mints help with the queasy feeling. But other than that its been pretty good so far. Brittany is calling the baby Wigwam. Just until we find out if its a boy or a girl. So everytime she talks to me she asks, " How's my Wigwam?" I just have to laugh. She also thought that there were two babies. I told my doctor that and she said, "Doesn't she like you?" ha it was funny. We're just starting to tell people that aren't family. I love their reactions, especially my friends. They all say, no way, or are you serious? When I say yes, they freak out and get all excited. Its pretty funny. But thats all for now...I'll update again when I get updated. ha jk. I'll keep you posted.

Our first Christmas married! We had lots of fun decorating the tree, buying gifts for each other, and just spending time together. We got each other some pretty nice stuff, in my opinion. Justin did really good getting my gifts, especially because I couldn't think of anything I wanted. We had lots of fun making our own traditions too.

The tree! I loved our decorations.

Pajamas!

Both of us in our Pajamas
Christmas morning! This is of me holding a box that says "Wii System" on it. We bought the Wii a few months before and said it was a Christmas present. So we colored on the box and wrapped it and put it under the tree. It was kinda an inside joke between us.
Justin made me a book of all our wedding pictures. Its really nice and I love it!

The Blue-ray player he "didn't" know he was getting. Thats why he bought me Blue-ray movies. ha

I got him a Christmas Story Leg Lamp puzzle. The actual leg lamp was too expensive.

Thats all the wrapping paper from our Christmas. Thats a tradition in my family, when we open presents, we just chuck all the paper to the other side of the room and worry about it later.

ThAnKsGiViNg!

This was our first Thanksgiving married so we wanted to celebrate by making our own Thanksgiving dinner! Mostly I made it and he ate it. But it was still lots of fun. I had the afternoon off from work so I went all out, because I had the time. I made the turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, olives(Thanksgiving wouldn't be right with out olives), and corn. It was lots of fun for me to do. I even took pictures as I was going.

The turkey! Its almost done!
Stuffing. Mmmmm....I love stuffing.
Mashed potatoes. Not from scratch, but oh well...
In my family you can't have Thanksgiving with out olives. :)

The turkey is done! Doesn't it look yummy?

Thats after I carved it. Yup, carved it all by myself.
Everything is wrapped up because Justin's dad needed help giving someone a blessing and they had to leave right when I got everything done. So this was me waiting for him.
The aftermath. It was super yummy. I was really proud of myself.

Our 1st Halloween

This is my pumpkin! I was so proud of my self :)
Justin's pumpkin. Its supposed to be him. Can you tell? ha

I was a football player's girlfriend. I wore his old jersey.
And he was a cowboy...really original right? ha jk. Oh..and
I couldn't get this picture to turn so don't mind that.

1 year!

On September 28th it will be one year since Justin and mine's first "date"(you could call it that). We have been together for almost a year and its kinda crazy to me. I'm sitting here blogging about us being married and Justin is putting a cupboard together behind me and I just keep thinking how weird it was that a year ago today I was probably going to work at Ally's and after I would be hanging out with Sarah and Heather. Now all of us are married! Its just weird. ha ha
This week Justin and I have decided to start looking for places to rent. While we're grateful to his parents for letting us live with them, we have decided that we need our own space. In Syracuse there is a house that was up for sale for a little while. Its on my way to work so I would look at the sign and wish that we could buy it. It would be the perfect size for us and it has a big yard that Justin could work in (he loves yard work...funny how opposites attract). A couple weeks ago the FOR SALE sign went down. Then yesterday, on my way home, there was a FOR RENT sign out in the front yard! I couldn't get the whole phone number so we decided to go back this morning and get it. You think it would be there right??? Well it wasn't! I'm so bummed, but there's some other places we're thinking about, so its all good. But if anyone knows of any places to rent that don't have ridiculous payments, let us know!

About us

This is my first time blogging. haha I'm probably not going to be very good at this. I guess I could start by telling about us. My name is Kimberly Ranee Bodily, I'm 18 years old and I married Justin Bodily on April 3, 2009. We met 5 years ago in our ward. We never really hung out, but we talked to each other every once in a while. Justin went on his mission to Philidelphia, Pennslyvania in August. Unfortunatley he had to come home after just a month because of some problems with his knee. But this was also a blessing for us together as well. Just two weeks after he came home he invited me to go with him to take the missionaries somewhere. Then that was that. After that night we spent everyday together. We got engaged on November 6. It wasn't the big fancy proposal he wanted to do but it was just perfect for me. We were packing things up in his basement and we sat down to take a break and he went into his room to get "something" and when he came back out we started talking again and he asked me, "How do you feel when you're around me?" I replied with, "Pretty good, when you don't do anything stupid." He laughed, got down on one knee, pulled out the ring and said, "Will you marry me?" I was so shocked that I don't even remember what happened. He said I asked if he was serious and then I kissed him and only said yes after he said, "So?" We went upstairs and told his mom and then started calling everyone and going to see my parents and siblings.

We are currently renting the basement of his parents house. I'm working at an eye doctor and Justin is working as a teller at Wells Fargo. According to our families we are still very much newlyweds. ha I don't think so, I think we act like we did before we got married. But thats us. We aren't that interesting, but we are happy. :)
